Tourism Northern Territory

Outback or city vibe, on unknown paths or to famous sights, a hike to crocodiles or a deep dive into old heritages: The Northern Territory is the gateway to Australia and is closer to Asia than any other major Australian city – just 2.5 flight hours separate Bali from the capital Darwin. The region stretches from the tropical top end in the far north over the endless outback to the impressive red centre with the deserts around Alice Springs. In addition to the more than 50,000 year old Aboriginal culture, the Northern Territory is home to a unique wildlife and numerous natural treasures, including Uluru (Ayers Rock), the continent’s landmark as well as the UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage Kakadu National Park.
