Atlantic Coast France

Here, on the French Atlantic coast, fine sandy beaches alternate with pine forests and dunes, the salt marshes of Guérande and impressive landscapes like those of the Basque Country. Cities such as Bordeaux, Nantes, La Rochelle, Royan and Bayonne make the region as attractive as numerous nature reserves, for example La Brière, L’Etang de Cousseau and Le Courant d’Huchet, as well as idyllic campsites only footsteps away from the Atlantic Ocean and surrounded by nature. Off the coast, Oléron, Ré and Noirmoutier enchant with French island flair and idyllic fishing villages. The latter can also be found at the picturesque Cap Ferret. The “Atlantic Coast France” destination comprises a total of 36 tourist partners, including two French regions, six départements, numerous camping and glamping providers and the holiday accommodation of Gîtes de France in the Pays de la Loire.
